Despite the pictorial and documented evidence provided by the Peoples Democratic Party to back up its claims, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has insisted that the Director General of Department of State Security Services, Mr. Lawal Daura, is not a card-carrying member of the party.
PDP had stood its ground in its allegation that Daura has affiliation with both the President, Muhammadu Buhari, and his party, the APC.
The opposition party said it has record that apart from being related to the President, the DG of DSS was the head of the intelligence unit and a member of the APC.
The ruling party said  nothing short of producing Mr. Daura's membership card or evidence of his membership registration will convince discerning Nigerians that he is indeed a member of the APC as alleged by the PDP.
In  a statement issued on Friday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said it amounts to rabble-rousing and crass politicking for the PDP to have wrongly accused Mr. Daura of being a member of the APC withouta scintilla of credible evidence.

Thereafter, the PDP had reportedly produced photographic evidence to buttress its claim
