Armed Robbers Storm Diamond Bank In Owerri, Loot Millions

Unknown gunmen invaded a branch of Diamond bank in Owerri, Imo state capital. The robbers in their numbers reportedly attacked the bank with highly sophisticated weapons this morning and made away with an undisclosed sum of money.

According to report, they left some person(s) injured. The busy Douglas road branch which is situated opposite a market became noticeably scanty due to the incident. Business activities at the branch were equally grounded.

According to ‎Prince Micheal Chika‎, the police operatives arrived the scene few minutes later. Security operatives are hopeful that they will apprehend those who carried out the attack
