Nigerian music star, Burna Boy's catch phrase “No evidence, you go explain tire" hasn't just made an imprint on the social circles but seems to have been noticed by the Nigerian academic sector.
The catchphrase made popular by Burna Boy, “No evidence, you go explain tire,” found its way into an exam question at the University of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State.
The phrase made its appearance in question number five of a recent exam taken by 400-level students majoring in the Department of History and International Studies.
The question posed to the students was: “How does the current popular saying of Nigeria’s music sensation, Burna Boy, ‘no evidence, you go explain tire,’ reflect the nature of history?” This unexpected blend of pop culture and academia surely caught the attention of many.
