Fani-Kayode Has Agreed to Cooperate with EFCC; Now Acting Humble

Embattled former spokesman of the Goodluck Jonathan campaign organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode has been given administrative bail, but he must produce two Directors to EFCC office as sureties. It's a big task for him as most Directors in Abuja are afraid to get involved with "anything EFCC".

Consequently, sources disclosed to OluFamous.Com that Fani-Kayode is now cool and calm in detention, not wanting to say or do anything that could make him incur the Olisa Metuh treatment.

Also, the EFCC has frozen the bank account of a company belonging to a former SGF, Chief Olu Falae. It was gathered that the account with United Bank for Africa (UBA) titled Marecco Nigeria Limited was frozen as part of investigations into Nigeria's N4billion that was disbursed by the Jonathan Campaign team during the build-up to the 2015 presidential election.

Falae and Fani-Kayode are accused of receiving N940m from the team's Director of Finance, Nenadi Usman. The money was said to have emanated from the account of the National Security Adviser (NSA) which is domiciled in the Central Bank of Nigeria.

A reliable source at the EFCC said, “Nenadi Usman cooperated with us and returned funds. Fani-Kayode must also do the same. We need Nigeria's money back.”
